Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP Consultant to design, develop, and support cloud-based solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP BTP services, SAP HANA, SAP CAPM development, platform administration, and system integrations. This role will work closely with solution architects, functional teams, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP).
- Build and maintain backend services using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM), CDS, Node.js, and SAP HANA.
- Configure and administer SAP BTP services, including Cloud Foundry, Identity Authentication, Identity Provisioning, Destination, Connectivity, and Authorization & Trust Management.
- Develop and optimize SAP HANA artifacts such as Calculation Views, Procedures, Functions, and SQLScript objects.
- Support application integration requirements using SAP Integration Suite and related SAP integration technologies.
- Collaborate with solution architects and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Implement and maintain security models, role-based access controls, and authentication mechanisms across SAP applications.
- Participate in DevOps activities, including CI/CD pipeline implementation, deployment automation, and environment management.
- Troubleshoot application, integration, and platform issues while ensuring adherence to SLAs and operational standards.
- Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational procedures.
- Support testing, release management, system upgrades, and production deployments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in SAP BTP, SAP HANA, or SAP application development.
- Hands-on experience with SAP BTP services and Cloud Foundry environments.
- Experience developing applications using SAP CAPM, CDS, and Node.js.
- Strong knowledge of SAP HANA development, including SQLScript, Calculation Views, Procedures, and Data Modeling.
- Experience implementing authentication, authorization, and security configurations within SAP environments.
- Familiarity with SAP Integration Suite, CPI, or related integration technologies.
- Experience working with Git, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
