The Opportunity
Take ownership of designing and building cloud-native services using SAP's Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), delivering high-impact extensions integrated with S/4HANA and other enterprise systems. This is a hands-on backend engineering role where you'll shape service architecture, implement secure APIs, and contribute to modern SAP cloud transformation initiatives.

What You'll Do
- Design and develop backend services using SAP CAP (Node.js or Java)
- Model business data using CDS and implement service handlers
- Expose and manage OData/REST APIs for Fiori and integration consumption
- Implement authentication and authorization using XSUAA
- Deploy applications on SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry / Kyma)
- Collaborate closely with Fiori, Integration, and Functional teams
- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and CI/CD processes
- Support testing, troubleshooting, and post-go-live enhancements
Key Criteria
- 3+ years of backend development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP CAP
- Experience with CDS modeling and service layer implementation
- Solid understanding of OData and RESTful services
- Experience deploying applications on SAP BTP
- Familiarity with SAP security concepts (XSUAA, role-based access)
- Exposure to CI/CD and agile delivery practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams
Work setup
- Manila (BGC, Taguig): Perth hours (8 am5 pm PHT) with a full remote work setup
