SAP BDC Datasphere
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP BDC Datasphere Consultant to lead data integration, analytics modernization, and intelligent application development within our enterprise data ecosystem. This role combines traditional Batch Data Communication (BDC) expertise with cutting-edge SAP Business Data Cloud capabilities to drive digital transformation initiatives.
The consultant will architect and implement comprehensive data solutions that bridge legacy SAP systems with modern cloud-native analytics platforms, enabling real-time insights and AI-ready data foundations
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills
- SAP Datasphere Expertise: Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere implementation, data modeling, and semantic layer development
- BDC Knowledge: Strong background in Batch Data Communication for data migration, including both session method and call transaction approaches
- Data Integration: Proficiency with SAP integration technologies including replication flows, data federation, OData APIs, and connectivity frameworks (SDI/ODP/SLT)
- SAP Platform Experience: Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA data models, CDS Views, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
- Programming Skills: Strong knowledge in SQL, SQLScript, ABAP, JavaScript, Python, and data pipeline development
Experience Requirements
- Implementation Experience: Minimum 2-3 end-to-end SAP Datasphere or Business Data Cloud implementation projects
- Industry Experience: Experience across multiple business domains with focus on data governance, master data management, and analytics transformation
- Project Methodology: Proven experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies in complex enterprise environments
- Client Engagement: Strong track record in stakeholder management, requirements gathering, and solution design workshops
