Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP BASIS Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA conversions, HANA database administration, and cloud-based installations (Azure). The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing complex SAP landscapes, performing system migrations, ensuring high availability, and providing advanced BASIS and HANA support across multiple SAP components.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support SAP S/4HANA conversions and migration activities
- Perform SAP HANA installations, including:
- Box build
- Installation preparation, execution, and post-installation validation
- Manage SAP system copy and refresh activities
- Administer and support SAP HANA database management
- Perform HANA performance tuning, optimization, and capacity planning
- Monitor and troubleshoot SAP HANA systems to ensure stability and performance
- Handle SAP BASIS administration activities, including:
-Transport Management
-Kernel upgrades
-SAP patch application
-SAP add-on installations
-SAP system start/stop activities
-SAP certificate management
- Provide monitoring and administration support for:
-SAP Portal (JAVA engines)
-Web Dispatchers
- Monitor and support additional SAP components:
-LiveCache
-APO
-BW
-PI/PO
- Work on Azure cloud-based SAP installations and environments
- Proactively identify issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures
- Support production systems and participate in troubleshooting critical incidents
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP BASIS with S/4HANA
- Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA conversions and migrations
- Expertise in SAP HANA installation, administration, and performance tuning
- Experience with Azure cloud platforms and cloud-based SAP deployments
- In-depth knowledge of SAP system copy, refresh, and landscape management
- Hands-on experience with SAP Portal, JAVA stacks, and Web Dispatchers
- Experience monitoring LiveCache, APO, BW, and PI/PO systems
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global support team

- Exposure to high-availability and disaster recovery setups
