Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize SAP landscapes across development, quality assurance, and production environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP system administration, installations, upgrades, performance tuning, and troubleshooting while ensuring system stability, security, and high availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Solution Manager, and NetWeaver environments.
• Perform SAP system refreshes, client copies, kernel upgrades, patches, and support package implementations.
• Monitor SAP system performance, availability, and capacity to ensure optimal operations.
• Manage SAP transports and coordinate releases across environments.
• Configure and maintain SAP HANA and database administration activities.
• Perform system health checks, performance tuning, and root cause analysis of system issues.
• Administer SAP security, user management, authorizations, and compliance requirements.
• Support backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
• Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams during deployments, upgrades, and project implementations.
• Maintain documentation, operational procedures, and technical standards.
• Participate in on-call support and resolve production incidents within agreed SLAs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on SAP Basis administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, ECC, S/4HANA, SAP HANA, and Solution Manager.
• Experience with SAP system installations, upgrades, migration projects, and patch management.
• Familiarity with SAP transport management system (TMS) and ChaRM processes.
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge of database administration (SAP HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2).
• Experience in performance monitoring and troubleshooting SAP environments.
• Understanding of SAP security concepts and user administration.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting cloud-based SAP environments on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• SAP Basis or SAP Technology certifications.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration projects.
• Knowledge of automation and scripting (Shell, PowerShell, Python).
