Job Description

Role: SAP ABAP Developer

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Minimum 5–6 onsite days per month; may increase depending on project requirements)

Office Location: Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City, Philippines

Working Hours: Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to design, develop, test, and support SAP applications across multiple business modules. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in ABAP development, technical design, and SAP enhancements, while collaborating closely with functional consultants and project teams to deliver high-quality SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, debug, and support SAP ABAP solutions based on functional and technical specifications.
  • Perform ABAP programming for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms (RICEF), BAPIs, RFCs, and IDocs.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and technical leads to develop solutions, troubleshoot issues, and provide application support.
  • Design and implement technical solutions for SAP SD, MM, and FICO modules.
  • Perform unit testing, defect resolution, performance tuning, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) and go-live activities.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best coding practices.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including testing results and development artifacts.
  • Participate in technical analysis, prototyping, and effort estimation for new development requirements.
  • Provide regular project status updates and proactively communicate risks, issues, and dependencies to project leads and managers.
  • Work collaboratively within the development team while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, mandatory training, and project governance requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
  • Strong programming experience in ABAP, including:
  • Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF)
  • BAPIs
  • RFCs
  • IDocs
  • Experience in technical design and development for SAP SD, MM, and FICO modules.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience performing code reviews and ensuring development quality.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional project teams.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
