Job Description
We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to design, develop, test, and support SAP applications across multiple business modules. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in ABAP development, technical design, and SAP enhancements, while collaborating closely with functional consultants and project teams to deliver high-quality SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, debug, and support SAP ABAP solutions based on functional and technical specifications.
- Perform ABAP programming for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms (RICEF), BAPIs, RFCs, and IDocs.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and technical leads to develop solutions, troubleshoot issues, and provide application support.
- Design and implement technical solutions for SAP SD, MM, and FICO modules.
- Perform unit testing, defect resolution, performance tuning, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) and go-live activities.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best coding practices.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including testing results and development artifacts.
- Participate in technical analysis, prototyping, and effort estimation for new development requirements.
- Provide regular project status updates and proactively communicate risks, issues, and dependencies to project leads and managers.
- Work collaboratively within the development team while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, mandatory training, and project governance requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Strong programming experience in ABAP, including:
- Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF)
- BAPIs
- RFCs
- IDocs
- Experience in technical design and development for SAP SD, MM, and FICO modules.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience performing code reviews and ensuring development quality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional project teams.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
