Job Purpose

This role supports the team responsible for planning, designing, developing, testing, reviewing, debugging, and providing ongoing support for SAP ABAP programs, with a strong emphasis on Vistex solutions fully integrated with SAP modules. The incumbent will lead complex development initiatives, ensuring stable integrations and high-quality deliverables across the SAP landscape.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and support SAP ABAP development and enhancements, including Vistex (Agri) integrations, for Pineapple and Banana Agri modules.
• Partner with COE management and functional teams to align business processes with IT and deliver innovative solutions.
• Provide input on cost/benefit, efficiency, and resource needs for SAP-based process changes.
• Create plans and specifications covering workflow, staffing allocation, information sources, documentation, controls, and reporting for SAP modules.
• Collaborate with SAP COE members to resolve complex issues and ensure end-to-end integration across SAP modules.
• Define complex technical requirements for maintenance and future enhancements to improve system performance and meet business needs.
• Produce and maintain complete technical documentation for assigned projects.
• Perform advanced analysis, design, and programming for complex requirements.
• Develop and deliver user training (forms/reports, authorization roles, custom workflows, etc.).
• Provide coaching and technical support to peers related to code review
• Maintain strong working relationships with process owners, technical/functional teams, and end users.
• Handle other assigned duties and ensure compliance with ITGC documentation and change control.

Required Sills/Knowledge/Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Studies or related field.

Must‑Have Experience/s:

• Modern ABAP (7.4+) with strong application of expression‑based syntax and clean-code practices
• Object‑Oriented ABAP, including proper use of classes, interfaces, and design principles
• ABAP on HANA, including CDS Views, AMDP and code‑to‑data strategies for performance optimization
• Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA Clean Core and extensibility principles

Nice‑to‑Have Experience/s:

• API‑based integrations, including OData V2/V4 and REST
• SAP Fiori experience, including Fiori Elements, Fiori Launchpad configuration, and basic JavaScript/SAPUI5 knowledge
• Exposure to SAP BTP, including Business Application Studio for Fiori and extension development.
• RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP)
• AI‑assisted development, leveraging tools such as SAP Joule for code generation, documentation support, and faster issue resolution

Professional/functional strengths: Systems analysis, design, and testing; project management fundamentals (planning, estimating, controls, resourcing, QA); documentation and UI/report/form design practices; awareness of emerging IT trends.

Leadership & collaboration: Knowledge of supervision/team building/training; ability to work across diverse cultures and stakeholders.

Personal skills: Detail-oriented with strong analytical/problem-solving skills; self-motivated and accountable; excellent English communication.
