Job Objective
SAP ABAP Developer is responsible for developing and maintain custom programs in the SAP environment
Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom programs in the SAP environment using ABAP programming language.
- Work closely with functional consultants and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications for custom development.
- Review code to ensure that it is optimized for performance, adheres to programming standards, and meets business requirements.
- Maintain existing programs and provide technical support as needed.
- Analyze and tune custom programs to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
- Integrate custom programs with other SAP modules and third-party systems.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, such as program specifications and user manuals.
- Develop and execute unit tests to ensure that custom programs meet functional and technical requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Educational Attainment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Professional Certifications in SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP with SAP NetWeaver.
Experience Required
- Experience in ABAP programming or other SAP modules.
- Minimum of 3 to a maximum of 5 years.
