Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivatedSAP ABAP Developerto join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have13 years of hands-on experiencein ABAP development with a strong understanding ofSAP SD, MM, and FICO modules. This role involves working closely withfunctional consultants, project managers, and technical leadsto deliver robust, scalable solutions. The successful candidate must be detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of reviewing and optimizing their own code.
Key Responsibilities:
ABAP Development and Troubleshooting:
- Design, develop, test, and implementlow to medium, and occasionallycomplex ABAP programsbased on functional specifications.
- ExecuteABAP programming, includingRICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms),BAPI,RFC, andIDocs.
- Troubleshoot anddebug code issuesduring development, testing, and go-live support.
- Conducttechnical prototyping and analysison new or complex requirements.
Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely withfunctional consultantsandtechnical leadsto deliver high-quality ABAP code and solutions.
- Supportuser acceptance testing (UAT)andresolve defects, ensuring optimized system performance.
- Participate inABAP estimationsfor project requirements and timelines.
- Ensureclear communicationof status, risks, and dependencies withProject Lead/Manager.
Best Practices and Documentation:
- Adhere tobest coding practicesand company standards to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Performown code reviewsand assist with peer reviews as needed.
- Documenttechnical designs, testing procedures, and development outputsfor future reference.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's/College degree inInformation Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 13 years of ABAP development experienceinSAP SD, MM, and FICO modules.
- Proficiency inABAP programming tools, includingRICEF, BAPI, RFC, and IDocs.
- Stronganalytical and problem-solving skillswith the ability to debug and optimize code.
- Experience intechnical design documentationand delivering clean, maintainable solutions.
