Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developer with 7+ years of SAP ABAP development experience to design, develop, enhance, and support SAP applications across multiple SAP modules. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise in ABAP programming, object-oriented development, integrations, performance optimization, and custom SAP solutions while collaborating with functional consultants and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and conversions.
- Develop custom solutions using classical and object-oriented ABAP.
- Create and maintain Reports (Classical, Interactive, ALV).
- Develop Dialog Programming, Module Pool applications, and custom transactions.
- Build and support Data Dictionary objects (Tables, Views, Structures, Domains, Data Elements, Lock Objects).
- Develop SmartForms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms.
- Design and implement interfaces using:
- BAPI
- RFC
- IDoc
- ALE
- Web Services
- OData Services (preferred)
- Develop enhancements using:
- User Exits
- Customer Exits
- BADIs
- Enhancement Framework
- Perform data migration using LSMW, BDC, or custom upload programs.
- Optimize ABAP programs for performance using SQL tuning, runtime analysis, and debugging tools.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews.
- Collaborate with SAP Functional Consultants, Basis Administrators, QA teams, and business users.
- Prepare technical specifications and maintain development documentation.
- Follow SAP development standards, transport management processes, and change management procedures.
- Support testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- Experience developing CDS Views.
- Experience with AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures).
- Experience with SAP Fiori and SAPUI5.
- Experience exposing or consuming OData Services.
- Knowledge of SAP Gateway.
- Experience integrating SAP with third-party systems.
- SAP ABAP Certification is an advantage.
