SAP ABAP Consultant

Job Description:

• Provide SAP ABAP development and support for enhancements related to the OpenText integration project
• Analyze, design, and implement custom ABAP code (reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, etc.) to meet client requirements
• Collaborate with functional teams and client stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Deliver assigned tasks and deliverables within agreed timelines and quality standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP-OpenText enhancements
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and documentation of technical solutions
• Support existing OpenText/SAP integrations and ensure smooth day-to-day operations

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development and support
• Experience working with OpenText integrations within an SAP environment (preferred)
• Strong understanding of ABAP objects: reports, enhancements (BAdIs, user exits), interfaces, IDocs, forms (SmartForms/Adobe Forms), and performance tuning
• Ability to work independently and manage deliverables against defined timelines
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Good communication skills to interact with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams
