SAP ABAP Application Developer

Summary

The SAP ABAP Application Developer is responsible for delivering end-to-end SAP development within an enterprise ERP landscape.

This role contributes to design, build, testing, and support of SAP solutions, working closely with functional teams, architects, and global stakeholders.

The position plays a key role in enabling business processes through scalable, secure, and high-performing SAP applications, including modern extensions on S/4HANA and SAP BTP.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance SAP applications (ABAP, S/4HANA, Fiori/UI5)

• Translate business requirements into technical designs

• Build APIs and integrations for SAP and external systems

• Support testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT)

• Troubleshoot incidents and optimize performance

• Maintain technical documentation and code standards

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and global delivery

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years SAP ABAP development (RICEFW objects)

• 2+ years SAP Fiori/UI5 development

• 2+ years building RESTful APIs/services

• Experience with SAP HANA (CDS views, optimization)

• Exposure to SAP BTP, RAP, CAP frameworks

• Knowledge of secure coding and vulnerability remediation (ATC)

• Experience working in Agile and ITSM environments
