Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson/Account Officer role based in Batangas. The Salesperson/Account Officer will be responsible for identifying and developing new clients, managing a portfolio of existing accounts, and promoting the bank's loan and deposit products. The role includes conducting client calls and visits, assessing customer needs, preparing and processing loan and account opening documents, and ensuring timely follow-through on applications. The individual will coordinate with internal teams for credit evaluation, approvals, and account servicing while maintaining accurate records and reports of sales activities. The role also involves monitoring client accounts for performance and risk, ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements, and delivering a high standard of customer service.
Qualifications
- Strong sales, negotiation, and customer relationship management abilities, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Solid knowledge or willingness to learn banking products such as loans, deposits, and other retail or SME financial services.
- Good analytical, numeracy, and problem-solving skills for assessing client needs, evaluating basic financial information, and preparing account recommendations.
- Clear and effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse clients and internal stakeholders.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple client accounts, documents, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience in banking or financial services.
- Prior experience in sales, account management, or lending (preferably in a bank or microfinance institution) is an advantage.
- Comfortable working on-site in Batangas, with willingness to conduct fieldwork and client visits as needed.
- Proficiency in basic office applications and banking or CRM systems is an asset.
