The Qualifications We Seek

  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5 years and above of experience working with Salesforce CRM in a Developer, Administrator, or Consultant capacity

Salesforce Experience

  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer at an advanced/expert level, with Administrator and/or Consultant expertise
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Salesforce Technologies (Essential)

  • Strong Salesforce administration experience, including configuration, security and sharing models, and data models
  • Strong Salesforce Flow and automation experience
  • Strong Apex development experience, including triggers, classes, test classes, and asynchronous processing patterns
  • Strong Visualforce development experience
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, configuration, and customization
  • Experience managing development, testing, and deployment lifecycles

Highly Regarded (Bonus)

  • API and integration experience, particularly MuleSoft
  • CRM Analytics experience
  • SQL and database experience
  • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, Administrator, or Platform App Builder
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies or project-based environments

Your Daily Tasks

Stakeholder Engagement and Requirements (25%)

  • Engage and communicate with key stakeholders across the business, serving as the trusted point of contact for Salesforce delivery
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and guide discussions on Salesforce capabilities and solutions
  • Facilitate requirements-gathering workshops and discovery sessions
  • Define, prioritize, and document business requirements
  • Manage expectations, scope, effort estimates, options, and delivery trade-offs
  • Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications for design, development, and testing

Salesforce Development (30%)

  • Manage end-to-end Salesforce solution development and deployment
  • Design and build automation using Salesforce Flow, Apex triggers, scheduled processes, asynchronous processing, and declarative tools
  • Develop custom functionality using Apex classes, triggers, and test classes
  • Build and maintain Visualforce pages and Lightning Web Components
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Ensure adequate test coverage and compliance with Salesforce governor limits
  • Evaluate and implement the most sustainable declarative or programmatic solution for each requirement

Solution Design and Architecture (15%)

  • Design scalable solutions aligned with the existing Salesforce architecture
  • Make informed design decisions balancing maintainability, security, performance, and scalability
  • Document solution designs, technical decisions, and data models
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Salesforce architecture and development standards

Deployment and Release Management (10%)

  • Own the build, testing, and release processes across Salesforce environments
  • Manage sandboxes, deployment pipelines, and release schedules
  • Apply version control and structured deployment practices
  • Coordinate releases to ensure smooth production deployments with minimal business disruption

Platform Administration, Integrity, and Security (10%)

  • Perform Salesforce administration activities, including configuration, user management, and security maintenance
  • Maintain data quality, system integrity, and platform performance
  • Ensure adherence to Salesforce governance, security, and data management best practices

Support, Integration, and Continuous Improvement (10%)

  • Provide technical support and guidance to administrators, users, and internal teams
  • Support API-based integrations between Salesforce and other business systems
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes through automation and platform enhancements
  • Recommend and implement continuous improvement initiatives
