Job Description

About the Role

US-based risk management consulting company. Our operations run on Salesforce Enterprise — it powers our CRM, client onboarding, and connects to our client-facing web app.

We need a Salesforce Specialist to own the Salesforce platform day-to-day, optimize our workflows, and act as the bridge between our CEI and our external development team for app and client portal work.

What You Will Do

Salesforce administration

•    Manage users, profiles, permission sets, page layouts, and validation rules

•    Maintain CRM data: accounts, contacts, opportunities, activities

•    Build and maintain Flows to automate manual work

•    Build reports and dashboards

Salesforce restructure

•    Restructure the Salesforce object model to mirror our multi-phase client onboarding workflow

•    Build stage-based logic so clients move through the process with required checks enforced

•    Automate phase transitions and templated emails

Liaison with developer team

•    Translate business requirements into clear Jira tickets for our developers

•    Run QA testing on developer work before release

•    Report bugs clearly with screenshots and reproduction steps

•    Track tickets and follow up so nothing stalls

Documentation and AI

•    Write user-facing instructions and process documents

•    Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) for documentation, Flow logic, SOQL queries, and routine tasks

Required Skills

•    Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM-201), active

•    2 to 4 years hands-on as a Salesforce admin in an Enterprise org

•    Strong with Flow Builder

•    Strong with validation rules and stage-based workflows

•    Comfortable building reports and dashboards from scratch

•    Data Loader and data cleanup

•    User and access management

•    Custom object modeling (parent-child relationships)

•    Clear written English

•    Comfortable using AI tools daily

•    Self-directed, able to own projects end-to-end

•    Reliable internet and proper remote work setup

Nice to Have

•    Platform App Builder certification

•    Experience with Jira and Slack (training will be provided)

•    Past experience working with external developer teams

•    Exposure to healthcare, risk, compliance, or B2B SaaS

•    Ability to read Apex code (no writing needed)

Success Metrics

•    Salesforce object restructure delivered within first 90 days

•    Founder receives clean weekly dashboards with no manual cleanup needed

•    Developer tickets are clear enough that the dev team rarely needs follow-up questions

•    Internal requests (new user, new report, small change) handled within 24 hours

•    All new automations and processes documented as they ship
