About You

As a Salesforce Administrator, reporting to the Manager of Business Applications, you will be responsible for all development in our existing Salesforce system. We have NetSuite integrated with Salesforce, along with other third-party systems.

You'll be designing new solutions in Salesforce to support our product development and business development efforts. We are a small team, so you will be working directly with business stakeholders to meet our needs. We expect you to work directly with end users to gather requirements and match them to Salesforce capabilities.

You'll get the opportunity to design and implement integrations between Salesforce and other systems, such as NetSuite, eCommerce platforms, and third-party applications, using technologies like Apex, REST, and middleware tools.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, translating them into functional specifications for Salesforce customizations and configurations.
  • Utilize your knowledge of Salesforce modules, features, and best practices to customize and configure Salesforce to meet teams business needs. This includes setting up workflows, custom fields, forms, reports, and dashboards.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy through data mapping, data flow, data cleansing, and data migration activities to ensure seamless information exchange between Salesforce and other systems.
  • Develop solutions with scalability for growth, efficiency, industry best practices, and optimally leveraging available Salesforce features.
  • Explore new features and modules available within Salesforce domain and third-party solutions that work well with Salesforce to respond to new requirements across our business.
  • Conduct small training sessions and create documentation to empower end-users to effectively utilize Salesforce. Provide ongoing support to address user questions and concerns.
  • Collaborate with business managers to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables. Participate in project meetings, provide regular status updates, and escalate any risks or issues.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. Clearly communicate complex concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date with Salesforce product releases, new features, and industry trends. Share your knowledge and expertise with the team, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation.

What You'll Need

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator or Developer, implementing and supporting Salesforce solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce models, including but not limited to Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities, Assets, Dashboards, Reporting and Analytics.
  • Ability to understand and analyze complex business processes and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions.
  • Proficient in Salesforce configuration, including workflows, custom fields, forms, reports, and dashboards.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues and system errors in Salesforce.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
