Overall purpose of position:
Salesforce is central to how we manage donor and supporter relationships, track engagement, collect and maintain mission-critical data, and enable accurate reporting across fundraising, programs, advocacy, and service delivery. This role ensures the platform remains stable, reliable, and aligned with the needs of a growing, mission-driven organisation.
The position is hands-on, with key responsibilities spanning end-user support, continuous improvement, automation, and the administration and maintenance of the organisation-wide Salesforce environment.
Position reports to: CRM and Insights Manager
Key Responsibilities
- BAU activities including managing the onboarding process for new users
- Administer and maintain Salesforce environments, ensuring platform stability, data integrity, and security
- Manage user accounts, roles, profiles, permission sets, and data access controls
- Build and optimise declarative automation (Flows, Approval Processes, Validation Rules, etc.) to streamline business processes
- Designing and enhancing workflow rules, validation rules, approval processes, page layouts, custom objects, custom settings, profiles and permission sets, reports and dashboard development
- Support testing and deployment activities in coordination with development team
- Support ongoing projects across multiple functions of the company by configuring and maintaining Salesforce solutions
- Collaborate with external platform and integration partners and internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce configurations
- Assist in data management activities including imports, cleansing, deduplication, and quality monitoring
- Create and maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and operational runbooks
- Deliver end-user training and promote Salesforce best practices across business units.
- Monitor system performance, proactively troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements
- Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce features and best practices, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
Position Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- Salesforce Administrator and Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud certification
- Relevant data management experience in public health programs, services, and evaluation.

Experience
- 2-5 years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience including implementing and enhancing the Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) platform
- Experience with data management and data migration tools (Data Loader, Dataloader.io)
- Marketing Cloud experience is advantageous
- Prior experience collaborating with global teams across time zones.
