Job Description

Homemaker Furniture Corporation is looking for a Sales Team Leader to join our showroom team. This role is responsible for driving sales performance through both personal selling and team leadership. The Sales Team Leader will actively assist customers, generate sales, and serve as a role model for the sales team while providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure sales targets and customer service standards are consistently achieved. The role also involves overseeing daily sales floor activities, maintaining excellent customer service, and supporting the implementation of sales strategies and showroom standards. The ideal candidate is a customer-focused and results-driven professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for furniture and home interiors.

Qualifications

  • Atleast Highschool graduate with relevant experience in Sales, Retail, and Leadership
  • With at least 2 years of experience in retail sales and at least 1 year of leadership or team-leading experience
  • Strong sales, customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and coach a sales team to achieve targets
  • Customer-focused with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Knowledge of furniture, home furnishings, and interior design is an advantage
  • Proficient in preparing sales reports and monitoring team performance
  • Willing to work in a fast-paced showroom environment, including weekends and holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve individual sales targets while contributing to overall showroom sales goals
  • Lead, guide, and support Sales Associates in achieving individual and team sales targets
  • Welcome and assist customers by providing product recommendations based on their needs and preferences
  • Develop and maintain strong product knowledge of furniture collections, features, and showroom offerings
  • Monitor daily sales activities and ensure excellent customer service standards are consistently maintained
  • Conduct product knowledge coaching and on-the-job training for Sales Associates
  • Support the implementation of sales programs, promotions, and marketing initiatives
  • Build and maintain positive customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals
  • Handle customer concerns and coordinate with management for proper resolution when necessary
  • Ensure showroom displays are clean, organized, visually appealing, and compliant with company standards
  • Monitor attendance, productivity, and overall performance of assigned sales staff
  • Prepare and submit sales performance updates, customer feedback, and other required reports
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and showroom standards
  • Act as the person-in-charge of the showroom during the absence of the Sales Supervisor
