Back-End Sales Support / Excel Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sales Support Specialist to support the Commercial Team through accurate reporting, data analysis, sales administration, and process improvement.
The ideal candidate will have strong commercial acumen, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and the ability to transform sales data into meaningful insights that help drive business decisions and sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare, maintain, and analyze sales reports and performance dashboards
• Extract, organize, and interpret sales data to identify trends and opportunities
• Support the Commercial Team with forecasting, reporting, and data-driven insights
• Maintain accurate sales records, customer information, and documentation
• Assist with sales administration and coordination activities
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of sales support tasks
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve reporting processes and operational efficiency
• Support customer engagement activities and ensure follow-up actions are completed on time
Required Skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis)
• Strong reporting and data analysis experience
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Commercial acumen and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Must-Have Qualifications
• 3-5 years of experience in Sales Support, Sales Operations, Reporting, or Data Analysis
• Proven experience preparing and analyzing sales reports
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications
• Alcohol industry experience or knowledge
• Australian business experience
• Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
