Job Description

Position Overview:

ParagonCare is Australia's leading provider of medical consumables, pharmaceuticals, and equipment products. Serving the Public and Private Hospital sector, Retail Pharmacy, Day Surgeries, Medical Centres, Community Patients (direct to home), and Aged Care Facilities for 80 years +. ParagonCare also provides a range of 4PL solutions enabling suppliers to outsource supply chain management services.

Reporting directly to the Business Unit Manager, the Sales Support and Business Analyst Officer is a crucial role within our wholesale division. This position is responsible for building customer sales and loyalty through prompt, professional engagement and the proactive management of designated accounts. This position works collaboratively with customer service, data management and the sales team to support seamless end-to-end outcomes for the customer. This includes building and monitoring of reports, data analysis, pricing maintenance and reviews, data matching and account maintenance.

  • High level of Microsoft Excel and Data Analysis skills
  • Building and analysis of reports to call out key findings to management
  • Financial Acumen
  • PowerPoint presentation creation
  • Multi-tasking and excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and timelines
  • Experience with Power BI and Crystal reporting is favourable
  • Experience with JD Edwards ERP system is favourable but not necessary

Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

Report Development

  • Accountability (details of KPI including time, percentage)
  • Reports and dashboard delivered within agreed timelines

Data Quality

  • Ensure 100% accuracy of data presented in reports

Response time

  • Reply to key stakeholder emails promptly and provide ETA's on requests provided

Account maintenance

  • Ensure regular checking of accounts is maintained resulting in correct customer accounts set ups

Key Position Responsibilities

Report Development

Design, develop, and maintain reports using Power BI, ensuring timely and accurate insights that support business decision-making.

Data Modelling:

Build data models in excel to assist in ascertaining account profitability.

Data Matching: Data match procurement files provided by customers accurately to ensure quotes can be provided to customers on internal codes

Account Maintenance: Manage the account opening and maintenance process with the internal teams responsible for doing their tasks. Ensure those teams complete all the necessary tasks

Stakeholder Engagement:

Engage with divisions and gather reporting requirements, translate them into Business Requirements, and deliver reports

Business Reviews:

Compile required reporting to create Business Reviews on PowerPoint presentations for the Business Unit Manager to present to key stakeholders

Customer Service Assistance:

Where requested by the sales team, place specific customer orders and raise credits where approved to do so

Pricing maintenance: Monitor and collaborate with Key Account Managers and Business Unit Manager to review key customer pricing in line with set guidance

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with other department heads and stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver the appropriate solutions

Personal Attributes & Key Competencies

Education

Knowledge & Experience

  • Bachelor degree in Business Management, Office Management, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Knowledge of Power BI administration, including workspace management and capacity settings
  • Solid understanding of data visualization best practices, user experience, and interactive report features (e.g., slicers, bookmarks, drill-through, RLS)
  • Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and secure report distribution practices
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills

Nice to have

  • Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and data pipeline orchestration
  • Familiarity with SSIS or other ETL tools used in enterprise environments
  • Certifications in Microsoft Power BI, Azure, or Snowflake
