Sales Specialist (Engineering/Instrumentation)

Job description:

Objectives:

-Prospect & Development customers

-Achieve the sales target set by the team in the assigned industry

-Focus on increasing the sales, profit, and number of accounts

-Expand the product range and application used by the customer

-Deliver positive customer service

-Cultivate strong partnership with distributors and customers

-Initiate an open and collaborative culture in the workplace

-Participate in the company's vision to lead and reach excellence in the industry

Duties and Responsibilities:

Planning

1. Understand the market conditions, new trends and developments for more business opportunities.

2. Implement an effective market penetration strategy to develop new customer and gain more product purchase

3. Make the business profitable

4. Increase the market share of existing and target business with the given market intelligence

5. Regain lost customers and sustain existing business

6. Prepare orders and forecasts to suppliers depending on requirement and and inventory level

7. Set pricing strategies and price rates

Execution

1. Handle customers in above mentioned industries /application

2. Communicate with principal on business related matters

3. Promote products

4. Forward product samples, TDS, SDS, and other documents requested by customer

5. Monitor customer projects

6. Provide technical solutions and recommendations

7. Submit Customer Information Sheet

8. Collect sales forecast from customers

9. Implement pricing and payment terms to customers and suppliers

10. Disseminate important information to customer ex: Price increase, Product discontinuation, product allocation , Shipment schedule and other concerns

Minimum Qualification:

Education: A college degree is required. Graduate of BS instrumentation and Control Engineering, BS Industrial Technology in Instrumentation and Control Technology, BS Mechanical Engineer, BS Electrical Engineer, Bachelor of Engineering Technology major in Chemical Engineer Technology.

Experience: 1-5 years work experience from reputable companies such as Ecolab, Diversey and Kalinisan

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Preferably with an analytical mind of good moral character
• Able to drive w/ valid licensed
• Knowledgeable in MS offices
