Job Description

About the Role

At Zendesk, Sales Operations is evolving from essential process support to intelligent, scalable automation. As a Sales Operations Specialist, you will be a central part of this global transformation. You aren't just supporting a process; you are designing the data-driven workflows, automations, and AI-powered solutions that enhance our global go-to-market engine. This is an exciting opportunity to partner across Sales, Marketing, Product, and IT to automate processes, integrate critical systems, and unlock insights that help our revenue teams operate faster and smarter.

Who we're looking for

We are seeking an analytical professional who thrives at the intersection of business strategy and cutting-edge technology. You are someone who enjoys leveraging data to eliminate manual work and has a proactive mindset toward identifying process gaps. Because this role involves heavy collaboration with our APAC and global partners, we need a strong communicator who can translate complex technical requirements into actionable solutions for a diverse audience.

What you'll be doing

  • Systems Optimization & Automation: Lead sales system initiatives and Salesforce-integrated projects, designing automations that streamline workflows and reduce manual effort for global teams.
  • Lead Integration & Tooling: Support and improve integrations between key sales technologies, ensuring tools are configured for maximum efficiency and scale for our APAC users.
  • Data Activation: Use SQL, AI, and BI platforms to transform data into actionable insights, building dashboards and reports that enable informed decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with global operations teams across AMER, EMEA, LATAM, and APAC to ensure consistency and successful adoption of new tools.
  • Continuous Improvement: Experiment with new AI and automation technologies to identify improvement opportunities and drive the delivery of scalable solutions.

What you bring to the role

  • Analytical Rigor: A proven ability to look at customer utilization and sales patterns to drive efficiency.
  • Technical Curiosity: A desire to be a Salesforce Champion and stay ahead of the curve with AI capabilities.
  • Self-Sufficiency: The ability to find answers independently using internal resources or AI tools like ChatGPT/Claude when faced with system unknowns.
  • Change Management Expertise: Experience supporting rollouts through UAT testing, documentation, and user training coordination.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Systems Analyst roles.
  • Proficient knowledge of Salesforce (SFDC) objects and object relationships.
  • Experience in a SaaS or B2B go-to-market environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Admin Certification.
  • Hands-on expertise using modern iPaaS platforms (e.g., Workato, Zapier) to automate workflows.
  • Experience with internal Customer Support software (Zendesk knowledge is a plus).
  • Familiarity with GDPR and data governance standards.

Hybrid: In this role, our hybrid experience is designed at the team level to give you a rich onsite experience packed with connection, collaboration, learning, and celebration - while also giving you flexibility to work remotely for part of the week. This role must attend our local office for part of the week. The specific in-office schedule is to be determined by the hiring manager.
