Description

The Pricing Analyst position is responsible for the efficient and accurate processing of requests for price maintenance.

This position requires mastering list price actions, investigate cause of errors as well as documentation protocols. A high level of attention to detail and 98% accuracy on all work completed is required. All price reviews must be completed within 24 hours of receipt. The position requires familiarity with micro-UPS (Uninterruptable Power System), rack enclosure systems, power distribution, and thermal management products.

This position will provide support to and receive assignments from the Strategic Pricing Manager.

Responsibilities

Definition: The core duty of the individual that demonstrates and effectively applies depth and breadth of knowledge and skill in a technical or functional area in observable and measurable terms.

  • Collaborate with Product Offering Managers to develop, implement, and communicate list price actions.
  • Maintain accurate list prices in system and work with business units and/or IT to identify and fix issues.
  • Load list pricing for new SKUs/additional price books monthly; ad hoc requests intra month, as needed
  • Load BU controls and update items with incorrect commissions
  • Review uploaded SKUs for any subscription errors and approve/reject based on upload results
  • Monitor approval queue and support ad hoc requests
  • Train other departments in uploading list prices
  • Root cause analysis integration issues between Data Zen/PIM/EBS/CPQ
  • Identify list price process improvement; work with Pricing team to enhance process.
  • Leads on updating work instructions as required.
  • Supporting, but not limited to own initiatives geared toward streamlining current processes, assisting, but not limited to creating new processes and using new technologies and systems.
  • Generate monthly reports for any pricing related activities establishing sales prices and opportunities.
  • Function as a reliable pricing SME for the sales operations department.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Product Offering, Order Management, VP of Sales Operations, Director of Services and the Executive Leadership Team to align list price strategies with overall business objectives and ensure effective execution.
  • Work independently based on work demand notifications or as requested by the Strategic Pricing Manager and Immediate Supervisor.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree of any 4-year course
  • Preferably Degree in Finance, Statistics, Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Ecommerce or related technical field.
  • 5-year experience in customer service
  • 2-year experience with Vertiv Customer service environment
