As a Sales Officer handling OFW insurance, the employee plays a critical role in bridging the gap between business development activities and the operational execution of insurance products. Must have established relationships with manning agencies to support the development and promotion of OFW insurance products. This position will be responsible for overseeing the local operations team, ensuring seamless coordination of claims processing, after-sales support, and customer service. The role requires a deep understanding of regulatory compliance, especially in alignment with the Insurance Commission of the Philippines, as well as a strong ability to support other offices/branches.
Key Result Areas / Duties And Responsibilities
I. Process Management
- Streamlining and managing processes related to policy issuance, renewals, claims processing, and customer service
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies
- Implementing best practices for operational efficiency
II. Team Leadership
- Leading and managing a team of professionals, including administrative staff, customer service representatives, and possibly sales agents
- Providing training and development opportunities to staff
- Setting performance standards and conducting evaluations
III. Customer Service Oversight
- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
- Addressing customer complaints and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Working to maintain strong relationships with both clients and insurance providers
IV. Strategic Planning
- Contributing to the development of the company's strategic plan
- Identifying opportunities for growth and improvement within the operations
- Collaborating with other managers and executives to align operations with the overall business strategy
V. Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensuring that the company complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines
- Managing risks associated with the operations, including regulatory compliance and data protection
VI. Partner Relations
- Managing relationships with partners and insurance carriers
- Negotiating contracts and ensuring that service levels are maintained

- Leading operational projects, such as the launch of new products or services
Qualifications Standards
- Bachelors degree of any four (4) year course
- With at least 3 to 5 years experience in insurance industry handling sales or marketing
- Must possess marketing skills, leadership, good organizational and planning skills
- Fluent both in written and verbal communication
- Must be computer literate and knowledgeable in MS Office Applications
- With analytical skills and good critical thinking
