Ausphin International Institute is seeking for a dynamic, results-oriented, and commercially driven Sales Marketing Development Manager to lead the institution's student recruitment, sales, marketing, and industry partnership initiatives.
This role is responsible for leading the commercial process of attracting prospective students, managing referral and industry relationships, nurturing qualified leads, and converting prospects into completed applications and enrollments. The role also oversees the institution's B2B partnerships, particularly relationships with companies, hospitality establishments, and industry partners where students undertake their On-the-Job Training (OJT).
This is a hands-on leadership role that combines strategic planning with day-to-day sales execution, marketing management, relationship building, and team leadership. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with strong commercial instincts, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for the culinary, hospitality, and education industries.
Sales and Marketing Campaign Strategy
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve student enrollment, application, and revenue targets.
- Establish annual, quarterly, and monthly sales targets and monitor performance against agreed KPIs.
- Develop strategies for lead generation, lead nurturing, application conversion, and student enrollment.
- Conduct market research and analyze competitor offerings, pricing, programs, and promotional activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Identify new student markets, referral channels, partnerships, and business opportunities.
- Develop and manage the Sales & Marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and generate measurable returns.
- Oversee digital marketing activities, including social media, search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), email marketing, and online advertising.
Student Recruitment and Sales Management
- Own and manage the student sales pipeline from lead generation through inquiry, consultation, application, and enrollment.
- Establish an effective lead management and follow-up process to maximize conversion rates.
- Build strong relationships with prospective students, parents, guardians, referral partners, and other key decision-makers.
- Conduct consultations, presentations, information sessions, and school tours for prospective students.
- Ensure prospective students receive timely, accurate, and engaging communication throughout the admissions journey.
- Monitor and improve conversion rates at each stage of the enrollment funnel.
- Develop referral and recruitment programs to increase qualified student leads.
- Ensure all sales activities and prospect information are properly documented and tracked.
- Measure campaign performance and optimize activities based on lead generation, engagement, conversion, and return on investment.
B2B Partnerships
- Lead the development and management of B2B relationships with hotels, restaurants, resorts, catering companies, culinary establishments, and other relevant industry partners.
- Develop and maintain a strong network of companies and organizations that can provide OJT and employment opportunities for students and graduates.
- Identify and secure new OJT partners to support the Institute's growing student population.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing industry partners and ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Coordinate with relevant internal teams to ensure industry partners are aligned with the Institute's OJT requirements and expectations.
- Explore opportunities for corporate training, industry partnerships, recruitment partnerships, events, sponsorships, and other B2B commercial initiatives.
- Represent the Institute professionally in meetings and negotiations with corporate and industry stakeholders.
- Monitor the effectiveness and quality of B2B partnerships and continuously identify opportunities to strengthen the Institute's industry network.
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Coordinate with Admissions, Academic, Student Services, Finance, and other departments to provide a seamless prospective-student-to-enrollment experience.
- Ensure sales commitments and promotional campaigns are realistic and aligned with available programs, schedules, facilities, and capacity.
- Collaborate with management and other stakeholders to achieve shared institutional objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, Hospitality Management, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the education, culinary, hospitality, or service industries.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales, enrollment, revenue, or marketing targets.
- Experience managing a sales pipeline and converting leads into customers, applicants, or enrolled students.
- Experience in B2B business development and partnership management, preferably with hospitality or industry organizations.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, social media, SEO, SEM, content marketing, and lead generation.
- Strong business development, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
