Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy Development:

  • Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market presence.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and develop actionable plans.

2. Client Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, including corporate clients, event planners, and local businesses.
  • Identify potential new clients and market segments to expand the restaurant's clientele base.

3. Networking and Promotional Activities:

  • Attend networking events, trade shows, and community activities to promote Morton's Steakhouse and its brand.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and outreach campaigns.

4. Team Leadership and Training:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and customer service.
  • Train staff on sales techniques, customer engagement, and product knowledge to enhance overall sales effectiveness.

5. Event Planning and Coordination:

  • Collaborate with clients to plan and execute special events, private dining experiences, and corporate gatherings at the restaurant.
  • Manage logistical aspects of events, including menu selection, pricing, and staffing.

6. Reporting and Analysis:

  • Monitor sales performance against targets, providing regular updates to restaurant management.
  • Prepare reports and presentations detailing sales growth, client acquisition, and market analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field. 3-5+ years of proven sales management experience in the food & beverage or hospitality industry.
  • With at least 3-5 years or more of experience in sales management within the food & beverage or hospitality industry.
  • Must have exceptional interpersonal skills with a talent for fostering lasting client and team relationships.
  • Must have strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends and craft innovative strategies.
  • Must have knowledge of fine dining standards, with a love for high-quality cuisine and wine.
  • Flexibility to be assigned to specific store or branch locations as required.
  • Must be available to start immediately.
