Key Summary
We are looking for a driven and well-connected Sales Manager to handle power transmission and distribution accounts. The ideal candidate comes from a supplier or solutions provider background — someone already selling transmission lines, transformers, OPGW, conductors, or related power infrastructure products to Philippine power utility clients. This is not an enterprise/account management role; it requires an active, hunter-type sales professional with existing relationships on the client side.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies for power transmission and distribution products, including transformers, conductors, OPGW, and related infrastructure solutions
- Manage and grow key accounts in the power utility sector
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and project/framework contracts
- Coordinate with internal technical and support teams on product applications and proposals
- Read and interpret technical specifications and single-line diagrams when engaging with utility engineers
- Consistently achieve sales targets and contribute to long-term business growth
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related technical field (MBA is a plus)
- Minimum 3 years of sales or business development experience in the power transmission and distribution industry; candidates with deeper experience are equally welcome
- Must come from a supplier or solutions provider side — candidates with experience exclusively on the client/enterprise side (e.g., internal procurement or project teams within utility companies) are not the right fit for this role
- Strong familiarity with the Philippine power utility sector is highly preferred
- Existing relationships with decision-makers in procurement, vendor management, and project teams within the power utility industry
- Proven track record of winning projects or framework contracts in the utility sector
- Ability to discuss product applications and technical specifications with utility engineers
- Excellent English communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; Filipino language proficiency is an advantage
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently
- Must be legally eligible to work in the Philippines
Preferred: Prior experience selling OPGW, conductors, or distribution transformers to Philippine clients; existing network within the Philippine electrical power sector.
