Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Sales Leader, Sales Management Certification) are a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a sales management role or related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing a sales team.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership & Team Management:
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Set clear sales goals and objectives, and track the team's progress against these goals.
  • Provide training, coaching, and ongoing support to the sales team.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Foster a positive, results-driven culture within the sales department.

  1. Sales Strategy & Planning:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with broader company goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities and target markets to drive sales growth.

  1. Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee the customer acquisition process and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Handle escalated customer issues and ensure that they are addressed promptly.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through regular communication and follow-ups.

  1. Sales Operations & Reporting:
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales processes.
  • Prepare regular sales reports for senior management, highlighting performance, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Utilize CRM software to track sales leads, opportunities, and activities.
  • Forecast sales revenue and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  1. Budget Management:
  • Manage the sales department budget, ensuring that spending is within allocated limits.
  • Analyze ROI for different sales initiatives and recommend changes as needed to maximize profitability.

  1. Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the marketing department to ensure the development of effective promotional campaigns.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., operations, customer service) to ensure seamless communication and execution of sales initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and innovations to ensure the company remains competitive.
