JOB SUMMARY:
Assists the Senior Sales Manager in ensuring the team is compliant to standards, assigned tasks are fulfilled. The role also helps identify growth areas with corresponding strategies to grow new markets at the same time managing his day-to-day activities in servicing the assigned accounts maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. Sales Team Management
- Assists in training, onboarding and development of the Sales team in Cebu Office.
- Support in the recruitment and development of staff. Inspire, mentor, and guide the team members as required to maintain optimal performance.
B. Business Development and Report Generation
- Spearhead our participation in B2B or B2C Trade Shows, Sales Missions or any activity as may be assigned.
- Be well-aware of travel industry movements, current market trends and economic indicators in order to relay timely and relevant information for guided management decisions.
- Analyze current rates and competitors and suggest sales strategies to enhance revenue from rooms, food and beverage, banquets, and other hotel services.
- Create, develop, and implement overall and market-specific plans and strategies.
- Update and manage records, validate data, and generate accurate reports as may be needed by Management.
- Ensure blockings and reports are kept up to date by the team.
- Prepare Weekly and Monthly reports to monitor individual and team's performance.
- Prepare timely and accurate reports needed for the Mancom and other reports as may be needed by Management.
C. Key Accounts Management
- Maintains visibility through regular sales calls and establishes communication with assigned accounts.
- Handle client inquiries, secure contracts, process leads, evaluate client needs, and market the hotel's services, promotions, and packages within the assigned area or industry of assignment.
- Maintain records and documents both offline (signed copies of proposals, contracts and other agreements) and online (in shared drive and PMS) for transparency and easy access of other departments like Finance, Reservations and Front office.
- Ensure accounts follow the hotel policies especially regarding guarantee and payment.
- Secure and document all relevant information for individuals, groups and events for proper handling and endorsement to the Property.
- Update and manage records related to account profiles, booking history and production.
D. Guest Assistance
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and complaints, ensuring clear communication and accurate information at all times.
- Must ensure all guest requests are endorsed properly to the Properties, follow through and confirm that requests are carried out according to our standards.
- Travel to assist major groups or events in any BHR property, or as may be needed.
- Encouraged to work cooperatively with colleagues to consistently deliver efficient, high-quality service that contributes to overall guest satisfaction.
E. Security, Sanitation and Safety Support
- Observe measures for ensuring safety, security and sanitation within area of responsibility.
- Clarify feedback, relay, coordinate and respond promptly and accordingly.
- Observe, apply, coordinate and cooperate in the implementation of related programs and exercises with the aim of ensuring compliance to established safety, security and sanitation programs and procedures of the Company.

- Participate in brand building activities, to include but not limited to corporate events, community efforts and gatherings.
- Keep any information that is deemed internal to the company, its trade secrets, and other related information in the strictest confidence.
- Adhere to and demonstrate the company's set of corporate values, and abide by the policies and procedures of the company for the employees.
- Be flexible to perform other related tasks/duties relevant to the Department/Company as may be assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- College degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or related field
- With at least 2 years of experience as Hotel Sales Manager or equivalent position
- Experience in handling multiple properties is an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal and conversation skills
