A Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing a sales team to achieve the companys sales targets and revenue goals. Their core duties include developing and implementing strategic sales plans, setting sales quotas and individual targets, coaching and motivating the sales team, tracking performance, and coordinating with marketing for lead generation. They also recruit, train, and evaluate sales staff, build and maintain customer relationships, analyze sales data, and identify new market opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Experience in sales of food products to secondary & tertiary markets preferred
- Must have had at least five (5) years experience in a supervisory or managerial position
