Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Drive sales growth across retail, corporate, group, and online travel channels.
- Identify new business opportunities, market segments, and partnerships.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer demand to adjust sales strategies.
- Build and manage relationships with corporate clients, agents, travel partners, and key accounts.
- Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and partnerships.
- Negotiate commercial terms with clients and partners to maximize sales and profitability.
- Expand the company's customer base across both B2B and B2C segments.
- Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve targets.
- Set individual and team sales goals and monitor performance regularly.
- Conduct sales meetings, pipeline reviews, and performance evaluations.
- Provide training on product knowledge, selling techniques, customer handling, and account management.
- Oversee sales of flights, hotels, tours, visa services, travel insurance, transfers, and other travel-related products.
- Coordinate with Reservations, Operations, and Customer Service teams to ensure smooth booking fulfillment.
- Support OTA sales growth by aligning promotions, pricing, and product visibility with business goals.
- Monitor booking trends, cancellations, conversion rates, and customer buying patterns.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business and account growth.
- Handle major client concerns, escalations, and service recovery when needed.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and service quality across all sales channels.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to support campaigns, lead generation, and promotional activities.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates for management.
- Analyze sales performance by product, branch, channel, and customer segment.
- Track margins, booking values, and sales productivity to improve results.
- Use CRM and sales data to improve conversion rates and account retention.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
- At least 5–8 years of sales experience, with 2–3 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in travel agency, OTA, hospitality, airline, or tourism sales is strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and growing accounts.
- Strong experience in corporate sales, leisure travel sales, group bookings, or channel sales.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong leadership and team management experience.
- Proficient in CRM tools, Microsoft Excel, and sales reporting.
- Knowledge of GDS, travel booking systems, or OTA platforms is an advantage.
