Job Overview
The Sales Information Associate is responsible for data collection, processing, and analysis that aids in forming data-driven insights on the different market trends in International Sales operations. The role entails sales forecasting, program evaluation, accurate and timely performance analysis, reporting, and cross-functional collaborations to attain key business objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Spearhead data processing and assist in the design and implementation of the Sales Reporting System (SRS) for International Sales operations
- Analyze and interpret channel sales and customer data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities in different markets
- Collect and safely keep business unit sales and customer-related data in a structured repository
- Prepare sales reports with data-driven insights on channels and/or markets during unit and territory planning, performance metrics setting, and evaluation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, finance, business development, and operations to align market-specific goals with key business strategies
- Monitor competitor activity and market conditions, and report findings or observations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics/Statistics, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least three (3) years of experience in sales analysis, business intelligence, or a related role
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge in data processing, data mining, and visualization
- Highly proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience in using a data reporting application (Power BI) is an advantage
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and forecasting techniques is also an advantage
- Willing to be trained for next-level roles such as project/system management and to participate in market-specific projects
