Role overview:
The Sales Information and Planning Manager is responsible for providing critical information and data-driven inputs through analysis, hypothesis, and insights in support to the overall objectives of the sales and trade marketing teams. Reporting to the National Sales Operations and Planning Manager, the role provides assistance to the team in the identification of performance issues and opportunities, development, and decision-making process of sales long and short-term plans.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Responsible for the monitoring of daily, weekly, and monthly sell-in and sell-out targets through internal data and Sales Force Automation, and OSA reports. The role is also responsible for the setting of sales targets both top lines, per region, and per SKU class
- Leads the design of studies and pilot tests such as automation whenever required. The successful candidate will spearhead planning, deployment, management, training, troubleshooting, and monitoring of execution together with other stakeholders, cross-functional teams and liaise with third-party SFA vendor on company requirements for implementation
- Lead in ensuring demand forecast accuracy targets are achieved on an operational basis, the individual provides leadership in the development of sales report templates as required
- Closely coordinate with supply chain, marketing, and trade marketing on sales requirements in terms of stock availability, program, and other projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial or Management Engineering, or any related field
- At least 5 years experience in sales, FMCG modern and general trade, trade marketing, and sales information
- Experience in demand forecasting is a plus
- Strong proficiency in PowerBI, Excel, Powerpoint, analyzing market and business trends, P&L management
- Strong presentation, influencing and communication skills
- Adept in MS Office and other data software tools such as NetSuite and SAP
- 60% travel is required
