Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales Foundations Trainer who is passionate about developing high-performing sales professionals and building strong sales fundamentals.

This role is responsible for facilitating onboarding, sales foundations training, coaching, and continuous development for Business Development Representatives (BDRs) and Quota Bearing Individuals (QBIs), including Mobility Solutions Engineers (MSEs) and Account Executives (AEs).

The Sales Foundations Trainer will partner closely with Sales Managers, Sales Architects, and Subject Matter Experts to ensure employees develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviors required to succeed in Orkestra's US telecommunications sales environment.

What you'll do:

  • Facilitate engaging onboarding and Sales Foundations training programs for new hires.
  • Deliver training focused on outbound B2B sales fundamentals, prospecting, cold calling, communication, objection handling, and consultative selling techniques.
  • Conduct structured coaching sessions during Training and Nesting to improve individual sales performance.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, presentations, assessments, and learning resources that support continuous learning.
  • Partner with Sales Managers, Sales Architects, and Subject Matter Experts to ensure training aligns with current products, processes, and business objectives.
  • Monitor trainee progress, document performance, and recommend coaching or development plans as needed.
  • Own the continuous learning calendar by developing and facilitating ongoing training programs, including refresher courses, leadership development, coaching fundamentals, performance improvement initiatives, and other learning programs that support employee growth and business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve talk tracks, sales techniques, and onboarding programs through continuous observation and feedback.
  • Participate in prospecting and customer conversations outside of active training classes to maintain firsthand knowledge of customer objections, market trends, competitor activity, and vendor promotions.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to align hiring plans with onboarding schedules and training capacity.
  • Stay current with industry trends, sales methodologies, and best practices to continuously improve training effectiveness.
  • Deliver training onsite during permanent US business hours.

What you'll bring:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sales Trainer, Learning & Development Specialist, or similar training role supporting outbound sales teams.
  • Experience training outbound B2B sales representatives in a US-based sales environment.
  • Experience in US telecommunications, mobility, fiber, SaaS, or technology sales is highly preferred.
  • AT&T technology and sales experience is an advantage.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Experience creating training presentations, learning materials, assessments, and coaching plans.
  • Ability to motivate, coach, and develop sales professionals with varying levels of experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple training initiatives.
  • Comfortable learning new products, sales processes, and operational workflows.
  • Basic to intermediate analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales metrics and identify performance trends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales technologies is preferred.
  • Willing to work onsite on a permanent night shift schedule.
