Job Summary:

The Salesforce Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable Salesforce solutions that support enterprise-wide business initiatives. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to ensure the Salesforce ecosystem is aligned with organizational goals, industry best practices, and the company's long-term digital transformation roadmap.

Job Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture & Design

• Lead the end-to-end design of Salesforce solutions across Sales, Service, Marketing, and Experience Cloud environments.

• Translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and high-performing architecture aligned with industry standards.

• Develop and maintain architecture diagrams, data models, and integration frameworks to support enterprise operations.

Technical Leadership

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to developers, administrators, and cross-functional teams.

• Review and validate code, configurations, and solution designs to ensure compliance with architectural standards.

• Establish governance frameworks for Salesforce development, deployment, and release management.

Platform Optimization & Innovation

• Continuously evaluate new Salesforce features, releases, and best practices to improve system performance and user experience.

• Identify opportunities for automation, process simplification, and platform enhancement in alignment with retail and digital commerce initiatives.

• Ensure proper data integrity, security, and compliance across the Salesforce ecosystem.

Integration & Enterprise Collaboration

• Design and oversee integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems such as ERP, order management, retail systems, supply chain, and BI platforms.

• Work with IT, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure seamless data flow, system interoperability, and adherence to compliance frameworks.

• Collaborate with product teams and business units to define system roadmaps aligned with organizational strategy.

Project Delivery & Stakeholder Management

• Support project teams in planning, effort estimation, solution validation, and risk mitigation.

• Communicate architectural decisions, technical risks, and solution trade-offs to stakeholders and leadership.

• Work in Agile environments supporting sprint-based development and iterative releases.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce, including design and architecture of complex enterprise implementations.

• Strong expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.

• Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, REST/SOAP APIs, and integration patterns.

• Experience designing scalable solutions within a high-volume retail or large enterprise environment.

• Strong problem-solving and technical decision-making skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Ability to drive large-scale digital transformation initiatives.

• Deep understanding of enterprise systems, data architecture, and cloud platforms.
