Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Sales Executive to drive sales growth and manage customer relationships across the West African market. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the FMCG industry, excellent market knowledge of West Africa, and hands-on expertise in credit sales and collections.
The role requires a proactive professional capable of identifying new business opportunities, expanding distribution networks, ensuring timely collections, and achieving sales targets while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and expand the company's sales and distribution network across the West African region.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and business growth objectives.
- Identify and onboard new distributors, wholesalers, and key customers.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Manage credit sales and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
- Monitor customer credit limits and minimize overdue receivables.
- Conduct regular market visits to identify new business opportunities and monitor competitor activities.
- Prepare sales forecasts, market intelligence reports, and sales performance reports.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely order processing and product availability.
- Maintain accurate sales records and MIS reports using Tally and Microsoft Excel.
Key Requirements
- 8-10 years of sales experience, preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Proven experience handling sales operations within West African markets.
- Strong experience in credit sales and collections.
- Good understanding of distribution management, dealer development, and customer relationship management.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across West Africa.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Age: 25–35 years.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently in an international business environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Compensation
- Salary: USD 1,500 per month (based on experience and suitability).
