Job Description

The Sales Executive is responsible for driving room and hotel revenue by developing and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing accounts, generating business opportunities, and achieving assigned sales targets. The position actively promotes the hotel's rooms, facilities, services, and promotions through sales calls, telemarketing, client presentations, site inspections, and industry events. The Sales Executive also ensures excellent customer service, addresses client needs and concerns, and builds long-term relationships that encourage customer loyalty and retention.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales & Business Development

  • Conducts regular sales calls and telemarketing activities to new and existing accounts to achieve assigned sales targets and quotas.
  • Develops and maintains productive business relationships through sales visits, product presentations, client entertainment, correspondence, and regular communication.
  • Promotes the hotel's rooms, facilities, services, packages, and promotions to generate business opportunities and increase revenue.
  • Ensures accounts are regularly updated on hotel developments, promotions, and offerings through timely distribution of sales collaterals and product updates.
  • Monitors room-night production and revenue generated by assigned accounts and recommends appropriate strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Recommends special concessions, packages, and revenue-generating arrangements that may increase account production and hotel revenue.
  • Presents accurate rates, quotations, and proposals to clients in accordance with approved hotel policies and revenue strategies.

Reservations & Client Coordination

  • Handles inquiries and reservations received through telephone, email, and other communication channels promptly and efficiently.
  • Addresses sales and reservation-related concerns by recommending appropriate solutions and coordinating with concerned departments and clients.
  • Accompanies clients and groups during site inspections, familiarization tours, and hotel visits as needed.
  • Coordinates with Operations on the requirements of groups, VIPs, and other special guests to ensure smooth execution of arrangements.
  • Prepares VIP and Group Information Sheets to properly communicate guest profiles, requirements, and special arrangements to concerned departments.
  • Handles website and online inquiries when required to generate confirmed bookings.

Sales Activities & Reporting

  • Participates in sales blitzes, travel trade exhibits, association meetings, industry events, and other business development activities.
  • Prepares and submits weekly Call Plans, Sales Call Reports, and other required sales reports.
  • Provides timely feedback and relevant market/account information to the Sales Manager to support business and revenue decisions.
  • Maintains complete and updated knowledge of the hotel's background, facilities, services, rates, packages, and promotions.

Customer Delight & Retention

  • Establishes and maintains positive relationships with customers to create memorable experiences and encourage loyalty.
  • Actively seeks and obtains customer feedback to identify opportunities to improve hotel services and facilities.
  • Responds to customer needs and concerns promptly and professionally to strengthen satisfaction and retention.
  • Demonstrates and promotes a customer-centric mindset in every client and guest interaction.
  • Serves as a role model in delivering consistent service excellence and customer delight.
