Position Overview

Aljay Agro-Industrial Solutions Inc. is seeking an accomplished and strategic Director for Sales to lead and drive the commercial direction of the organization across our agro-industrial portfolio.

This executive leadership role is responsible for defining and executing the overall sales strategy, strengthening market presence, expanding commercial opportunities, and leading high-performing sales teams aligned with the organization's long-term growth objectives.

The successful candidate will bring strong experience in Sales Leadership, supported by a background in Marketing and/or Business Development, with demonstrated success in building revenue-generating strategies, leading multi-functional teams, and driving sustainable business growth.

This role carries enterprise-wide accountability for the sales direction of the entirety of the organization and will serve as a key strategic partner to executive leadership.

The role requires successful hire and relocation to Santiago City, Isabela, where the organization may provide reasonable relocation and location-based adjustments subject to discussion and approval.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sales Leadership

  • Develop and execute the organization's overall sales strategy aligned with corporate objectives and growth plans
  • Lead enterprise-wide commercial planning and revenue generation initiatives
  • Identify new markets, expansion opportunities, and strategic business channels within the agro-industrial sector
  • Drive market penetration and sustainable sales growth across product and service lines
  • Establish and monitor sales performance frameworks, targets, and forecasting models

Commercial Growth & Business Development

  • Lead business development efforts and strategic partnerships to expand organizational reach
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key clients, distributors, institutional partners, and industry stakeholders
  • Identify emerging industry trends and commercial opportunities within agro-industrial markets
  • Support long-term commercial positioning and competitive advantage initiatives

Marketing & Market Positioning

  • Collaborate with leadership and relevant teams on market positioning, branding, and demand generation initiatives
  • Ensure alignment between marketing direction and sales execution
  • Utilize market intelligence and customer insights to refine commercial strategies

Leadership & Team Development

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to sales and commercial teams
  • Build a culture of accountability, performance, and collaboration
  • Lead organizational sales capability development and succession planning initiatives
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of high-performing commercial talent

Operational & Executive Reporting

  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts, revenue reporting, and executive commercial insights
  • Monitor KPIs and implement corrective strategies where necessary
  • Ensure commercial operations are aligned with organizational standards and governance expectations
  • Present strategic recommendations and business updates to executive leadership

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, Agribusiness, or related field
  • Proven executive or senior leadership experience in Sales, Marketing, and/or Business Development
  • Strong track record of driving revenue growth and leading commercial transformation initiatives
  • Experience managing large-scale sales operations and multi-level teams
  • Background in Agro-Industrial, Agriculture, FMCG, Industrial, Distribution, Manufacturing, or related commercial sectors is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and organizational leadership

Work Location & Relocation Requirement

This role is based in Santiago City, Isabela.
