Job Description
The Role
This is a mix of inbound/outbound SDR position. You will be the primary point of contact for leads generated by our marketing efforts, including web inquiries, demo requests, ad clicks, and chat conversations. Your core responsibility is to engage these leads promptly, qualify them effectively, and convert them into booked sales meetings or, for straightforward opportunities, directly into sales. In addition to managing inbound volume, you will conduct outbound prospecting activities targeting a defined list to continuously build the sales pipeline. Success in this role hinges on speed and follow-through, coupled with strong consultative sales skills. You must be adept at quickly engaging leads, uncovering customer needs through insightful questions and active listening, and positioning our solution as the ideal answer to those needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound leads within defined timeframes via call, email, or chat, prioritizing speed-to-lead.
- Qualify inbound leads against our ideal customer profile, booking sales meetings or closing straightforward deals directly.
- Execute outbound prospecting campaigns (calls, email sequences, LinkedIn) against a target list to generate additional pipeline.
- Maintain CRM accuracy by logging activities, lead statuses, and next steps in real-time.
- Provide feedback to the Marketing team on lead quality, common objections, and effective messaging.
- Achieve agreed-upon weekly activity and conversion targets.
- Clearly and credibly represent the brand and value proposition during initial prospect interactions.
- Focus specifically on the US market, which means aligning your work schedule to the US Pacific Standard Time PST) zone.
Must-Haves
- 1-3 years of proven experience as an SDR/BDR, preferably in B2B or SaaS.
- Experience selling into the staffing, EOR, outsourcing, or HR-tech space is highly advantageous, as it allows you to speak the language of our buyers.
- Specific experience prospecting or selling to the US market.
- A demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding pipeline, meetings-booked, or revenue targets.
- Excellent spoken and written English with clear and professional communication skills.
- A genuine speed-to-lead mindset, responding to new leads immediately.
- Confident, consultative selling style capable of quick qualification, handling initial objections, and determining the appropriate next step (meeting or closing).
- Comfortable working autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and a willingness to learn our Go-to-Market/sales tech stack (CRM, sales engagement tools, LinkedIn).
- A reliable home office setup.
Nice-to-Haves
- Familiarity with sales engagement or enrichment tools (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, Clay, ZoomInfo, HubSpot, or Salesforce).
- Prior experience working in a fully remote or globally distributed team environment.
