Job Description:
In this role, you'll collaborate closely with the field sales, marketing, partner, and sales engineering teams to ensure a seamless sales process, drive opportunities, and align efforts to meet business goals. Your work will help streamline communication and support across teams, enabling Avanan's
solutions to reach the right prospects effectively.
Tasks:
- Engage with incoming prospects who are interested in demonstrations, quotes, trials, or just learning more about Avanan's solutions.
- Get to know the needs of our prospects, and help schedule demos with our senior management, developers, and IT teams at medium to large Fortune 500 companies across industries like finance, education, technology, and healthcare.
- Make a daily goal of connecting 50-70 prospects, helping them explore our offerings.
- Set up qualified demonstrations for the Field Sales team to nurture prospects into pipeline opportunities.
- Reach out to both inbound Marketing-generated leads and new prospects, balancing cold calls and follow-ups.
- Stay on top of the status of your prospects, tracking their needs and keeping in touch regularly to move things forward.
- Discover pain points and offer tailored demos for potential customers who want to see Avanan's award-winning solutions in action.
- Work to grow both the size of individual opportunities and the overall pipeline for your sales territory.
Qualification/Skills
- 1 2 years B2B enterprise software telesales or business development experience
- Must have experience with sending follow-ups, with expertise in persuasiveness and negotiation skills
- Looking to build a long-term career in Sales
- Experience working with CRM software like Salesforce.com, direct dialers, Prospecting tools like Outreach and Marketing Software like HubSpot
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and great organizational skills
