Overview
Job description:
We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our sales team. The SDR will play a key role in generating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and cold outreach. This role is focused on building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound prospecting to identify and engage potential customers through various channels such as email, phone calls, and social media
- Perform cold calling to initiate contact with prospects and introduce company products or services
- Research and identify target accounts and key decision-makers
- Create and manage a consistent outbound sales funnel to generate qualified leads
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on defined criteria before passing them to Account Executives
- Maintain accurate records of outreach, conversations, and lead status in the CRM system
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to refine messaging and outreach strategies
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly activity and pipeline generation targets
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in SDR, lead generation, or outbound sales role
- Comfortable with high-volume cold calling and outbound outreach
- Ability to handle rejection and maintain persistence in a fast-paced environment
- Strong research and organizational skills
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus
- Goal-oriented mindset with a strong desire to exceed targets
