Your Role:
As Sales Development Representative, you will:
We are seeking a
driven and energetic Sales Development Representative to join our growing sales team. This role plays a critical part in driving
pipeline growth by generating and qualifying new sales opportunities for our Account Executives - with a primary focus on
outbound prospecting.
The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, enjoys connecting with people, and has a strong desire to learn and grow in sales.
- Generate and qualify new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, including cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach.
- Research and identify potential customers within our target industries (architecture, design, construction, etc.).
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand prospects needs and assess fit with Canvas solutions.
- Schedule qualified meetings and demos for Account Executives.
- Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to optimize outreach strategies and campaigns.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activities and leads in Salesforce (or CRM).
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly pipeline generation targets.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and Canvas product updates.
What You Need:
Non-negotiables
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred).
- 1-2 years of experience in a Sales Development or Business Development role, preferably in SaaS, technology, or startup environments.
- Proven success in outbound prospecting and lead qualification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - both written and verbal.
- Comfortable using CRM tools (Salesforce experience a plus).
- Highly motivated, resilient, and eager to learn new technologies and sales techniques.
- Passion for technology, innovation, and the built environment is a strong plus.
