Sales Design Consultant

Job Description:

Client Engagement & Sales

• Conduct client consultations to understand lifestyle needs, aesthetic preferences, and project budget

• Present design concepts, mood boards, floor plans, and material palettes in a compelling and client-friendly manner

• Drive sales of design packages, furniture, fixtures, and finishes for residential projects

• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and meet or exceed monthly revenue targets

• Build and nurture long-term client relationships to encourage referrals and repeat business

Design & Project Coordination

• Develop space plans and design proposals tailored to each residential project

• Prepare and present design documentation including drawings, specifications, and product selections

• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure design intent is carried through to execution

• Conduct site visits to assess progress and ensure alignment with client expectations

• Source and specify furniture, finishes, and fixtures from approved vendors and brand partners

Administrative & Reporting

• Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales presentations using company templates

• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, project timelines, and sales activity in the CRM system

• Provide regular updates to the design and sales leadership team on project status and pipeline health

• Stay current with residential design trends, materials, and competitor offerings

You're a Great Fit If You Have:

• 3–5 years of experience in interior design, architectural sales, or a client-facing design role
• A solid residential project portfolio (condos, townhouses, homes)
• Confidence presenting to homeowners, developers, or real estate buyers
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong communication skills and a commercially minded mindset
• A degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
