Job Description

ACMobility is looking for a Sales Data Analyst for BYD who will provide accurate, timely, and actionable insights to support the Sales organization. This role consolidates and analyzes sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and performance drivers across regions, models, variants, and channels. The Sales Data Analyst ensures the Sales Director and leadership team receive clear, databacked insights for better forecasting, decisionmaking, and strategic planning.

The Sales Data Analyst will manage sales datasets, build dashboards, monitor competitor and network information, and deliver analysis that helps BYD stay competitive and achieve aggressive growth targets.

Roles & Responsibilities

Sales Performance Data Consolidation & Management

  • Collect, consolidate, and harmonize sales data from multiple internal and external sources (DMS, CRM, market data, etc.).
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness through quality control processes.
  • Maintain structured datasets for dashboards, analytics, and reporting.

Competitor & BYD Network Intelligence

  • Track and analyze competitor promotions, pricing, and market programs.
  • Benchmark BYD campaigns and incentives against the competitive landscape.
  • Integrate industry reports and external market intelligence into internal reporting.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Develop and maintain regular dashboards and performance reports (daily/weekly/monthly).
  • Monitor KPIs such as sales volume, revenue, conversion rates, and territory performance.
  • Support leadership in reviewing performance versus targets through clear reporting.

Sales Insighting, Analysis & Recommendations

  • Conduct deep-dive analysis to identify sales trends, volume drivers, variances, and growth opportunities.
  • Pinpoint underperforming territories, product gaps, and areas needing reinforcement.
  • Provide insights for strategic planning, dealer engagement, and promotional development.
  • Propose data-backed promotions or incentive mechanisms based on performance drivers.
  • Evaluate promotions and document lessons to support future planning.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related fields.

Experience

  • 35 years of experience in sales planning, sales operations, analytics, or marketing; automotive industry experience preferred.

Business Understanding

  • Strong understanding of sales operations, inventory management, dealer network dynamics, and market behavior.
