Position Summary
The Sales Auditor is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and verifying sales transactions and records to ensure accuracy, compliance, and integrity of financial reporting. This role safeguards the organization against errors, fraud, and inefficiencies while supporting transparent and reliable sales operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Review point-of-sale transactions, invoices, and receipts for compliance with company policies.
- Investigate discrepancies, reconcile variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings, risks, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with sales, finance, and operations teams to improve processes and reporting efficiency.
- Provide insights to management on sales performance and compliance risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in auditing, accounting, or sales operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, accounting software, and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to management.
