About the Role
The Sales Associate is responsible for ensuring an exceptional customer experience within the showroom by assisting walk-in clients, maintaining showroom presentation standards, supporting product inquiries, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth operations. This role plays a key part in creating a welcoming, organized, and premium showroom environment for customers.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Assistance
- Welcome and assist showroom visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Provide basic product information and showroom guidance to customers.
- Direct customer inquiries to the appropriate Sales Executive or Product Specialist.
- Ensure a positive and seamless customer experience during showroom visits.
Showroom Operations
- Maintain showroom cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation.
- Ensure products are properly displayed, labeled, and arranged according to company standards.
- Assist in visual merchandising and showroom setup for promotions and events.
- Monitor display items and report damages or maintenance concerns.
Administrative & Coordination Support
- Assist in preparing customer quotations, product specifications, and other documentation as needed.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Warehouse, and Operations teams regarding product availability and customer requests.
- Maintain accurate records of customer inquiries and showroom transactions.
- Assist in inventory monitoring and stock movement of showroom items.
Customer Service
- Handle customer concerns and inquiries professionally.
- Follow up on customer requests when necessary.
- Support showroom events, product launches, and marketing activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, Interior Design, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in customer service, showroom operations, retail, or sales support.
- Preferably with experience in the building materials, home improvement, furniture, architectural products, sanitary ware, tiles, kitchen systems, lighting, or related industries.
- Experience in a showroom, retail, or customer-facing environment is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-oriented, pleasant, and detail-oriented.
- Willing to work on weekends and holidays if required.
