A Sales Associate is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service as per company standards, generating sales, merchandising, and safeguarding company assets.
- Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, and maintaining solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service.
- Maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements.
- Striving to achieve sales targets.
- Driving up sales and profitability by proactively and reactively following up on leads.
- Conduct sales calls and on-site presentations to customers to generate new sales.
- Qualify leads and determine their interest and suitability for the organizations services.
- Ensure all client requirements and documents are reviewed and complete.
- Maintain accurate records of calls made, leads generated, and deals closed.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide timely and accurate information.
- Prepare and maintain sales reports and documentation.
- Any other tasks as assigned by any manager/supervisor
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Marketing/ Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum six (6) months of working experience in sales, marketing, or telemarketing.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and results-driven.
- Good communication skills, both written and oral, are a must, as the candidate will be required to convey information clearly and professionally.
