Job Description

The Sales Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting business development and sales activities for airport operations services. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, preparing proposals, and coordinating with operational teams to ensure smooth service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets.

• Identify potential clients within the aviation, airport, logistics, and ground-handling sectors.

• Promote airport operational services, including passenger assistance, baggage handling, cargo support, ramp services, and related manpower services.

• Build and maintain professional relationships with airlines, airport operators, contractors, and business partners.

• Prepare quotations, tender documents, sales proposals, and service presentations.

• Follow up on enquiries, quotations, contracts, and outstanding payments.

• Conduct market research and monitor competitors and industry developments.

• Coordinate with operations teams to ensure clients service requirements are met.

• Handle client feedback and assist in resolving service-related issues.

• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and management updates.

• Support contract negotiations and renewal discussions.

• Ensure all sales activities comply with airport security, safety, and company requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Aviation Management, or a related field.

• Relevant experience in sales, business development, aviation, logistics, airport services, or manpower services.

• Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Strong customer service and relationship-management abilities.

• Able to prepare professional quotations, proposals, and reports.

• Self-motivated, organised, and capable of working under pressure.

• Willing to work flexible hours when required by airport operations.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
