Job Summary

Join SCIGATE as a Sales and Application Engineer to deliver technical pre-sales support, after-sales service, and drive sales growth through customer relationship management and product promotion in automation solutions.

Responsibilities

Provide pre-sales application support and technical assistance to customers to ensure product suitability and satisfaction
Deliver after-sales technical backup and support services to resolve customer issues and maintain service quality
Promote products through tele-marketing, demonstrations, and marketing activities to increase market awareness and sales
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
Manage and expand sales within the existing customer base by identifying opportunities and driving revenue growth

Required competencies and certifications

Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronic/Electromechanical, Industrial) or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in sales or technical roles within automation or related fields
Possess Class 3 Driving License

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Specialization in Sales - Engineering, Technical, IT, or equivalent
Experience with PLC, Control Automation, Drives and Motors, Sensors, IoT, and Metrology
Ability to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin to develop long-term relationships with customers who speak these languages
