The
Senior Account Executive is a key contributor to the companys revenue growth by managing high-value client accounts, developing strategic sales opportunities, and leading complex freight and logistics solution sales. This role demands advanced relationship-building skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to close significant deals that contribute to Boss Cargo Express Freight Services expansion and leadership in the logistics sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and secure new high-value accounts in logistics, e-commerce, manufacturing, and retail sectors.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key clients with large-scale freight and cargo needs.
- Develop customized proposals, pricing strategies, and presentations tailored to client logistics requirements.
- Lead contract negotiations and strategic account planning to ensure long-term client retention.
- Collaborate closely with operations, dispatch, and finance to ensure seamless execution of client solutions.
- Monitor and analyze account performance, sales metrics, and client satisfaction to drive continuous improvement.
- Mentor and support junior account executives as needed, promoting a high-performance sales culture.
- Maintain accurate pipeline data, forecasts, and sales reports in CRM systems.
- Represent the company in client meetings, trade events, and industry networking opportunities.
Job Qualifications
- At least 45 years of sales experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or related B2B industries
- Proven track record in handling large accounts and exceeding sales targets
- Strong knowledge of cargo operations, warehousing, trucking, and freight solutions
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Tech-savvy, with strong skills in MS Office
- Professional demeanor and strong customer relationship management skills
- With valid drivers license, willing to travel to client sites when needed
